Good to hear you are going to be joining us for this Crappiefest. You can use minnows to fish with. .Keeping fish alive should not be a problem with the temp we are having so I would think that all the fish will still be alive or still very fresh. We didn’t post many rules for this tournament.
No one has nothing to gain by cheating and we have never had a problem but if a question comes up about any fish at weigh-in, myself, Jimmy and Gabowman will make a decision and it will be handled on the spot.
These events are always a lot of fun and you can learn a lot about crappie fishing. Glad to have you with us here on Crappie.com and look forward to meeting you Saturday.

Thanks to all those who welcomed me and I look forward meeting you guys and to rounding up some slabs this weekend. I think the fishing will be quite interesting, with the lake being down 8ft or more, alot of my spring honey holes are on dry ground, plus we got a front coming through on friday that I think will shake things up a bit and turn the temps down a few degrees.
It will be a learning experience for me, fishing for crappie in the fall , I am usually sitting in a deer stand this time of year. I hope to learn a few things to pass to my daughter when she grows up.

Maybe the wind wont blow until lunch or after. I plan on having my 5-3 lbers before then. Been looking at the map for a way to fish out of the wind if possible.
