Big fish thread

Here’s some PA fish from March 09. 4 fish weighing 5 pounds.

Caught this big bruiser Male Pumpkinseed in a local Upstate NY Reservoir about 15 minutes from my house this evening using Crawlers under a Slip Bobber around a large brushpile. He put up a hell of a fight and when I pulled him in I thought for a second that I had a large Crappie or Bass on until I got him on shore!!! Sorry that he’s not quite on the end of the Rule as he kept floppin about and I kept messin up photo after photo so finally had to settle on this pic as the best I could do of him. Released him back alive to fight another day!!!

Nice fish, congratulation to all of you.

Todays catch 56 in cooler 8-24-2009.

I’ve caught a few 7" bluegills. One was one a full night-crawler, on the bottom for catfish, and the other was on a 1" grub. Those are the two biggest 'gills I’ve caught. That 1" grub is an excellent bait, I’ve caught 20 bluegill, green sunfish, and Large-Mouth at one time with it!

This one was 16"

This one was 31"

I love the look of a crappie.More when it is attached to one of my own jigs.Nice fish Ombrea

All nice fish., congrats to you all.

Take a look at this whopper that my daughter caught, back in the spring. We didn’t measure or weigh it, but it is as big as she is, and she is about 4’ tall!!!:D:D:D
