Slab Bandit thanks and i just bought a bunch of those a lil while back. It’s funny u put that lure up right now, cos i have been thinking hard about using it the next time im out there on Lake Conway. Those are some great pics, and of you n your dog (Funny Stuff Brother) and that is one heck of a crappie you got there, did you catch that on Nimrod? Ive been wanting to get out that way, if me and a certian fellow out there can ever get our schedules together.
Thanks Crappiepro. Yea I caught this one a while back but I think it was a 2& 1/2 pounder. I forgot to mention to pinch the nose off off the Beavertails first. This shortens up the profile. Look carefully at the second pic. and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I’ve caught some big crappie on these and a lot of dinks too. I’m always amazed at how long they will hold onto this YUM stuff.
Maybe we can hook up some day and visit each other’s lake!
