the state got a 30 day extension today I heard on the radio, they have till July 31 to make it happen
If our Democratic Chicago politicians namely Attorney general Lisa Madigan could get her head out of her a** and quit being daddies puppet in Springfield along with our Governor this bill should have been passed months ago without having a deadline put on it. Now this extension does nothing more than to give her more time to get it correct, as she put it. Make a decision for all of Illinois not just the two or three northern counties that carry this state. Heaven help us if she’s elected governor. I’ll get off my soap box now…

Just heard its ok to carry in Shelby county now too.
Peoria County OK’d it too. The issue is, that does not mean you will not get arrested, just that you will not be prosecuted. I’d be careful with this. I know I don’t want an arrest on my record.
I am just going to wait for the full law to go into effect before I start to carry.
