Hopsing and I teamed up Saturday to TRY to catch some slabs. Wind was TERRIBLE!!! Gust up to 40+. Ended up catching some nice slabs. Most were caught on minnows near brush, but I caught some shooting jigs up around brush. We grabbed two to take a picture with, and hopsing had to grab my slab of the day, it was caught on a minnow. The hot hair jigs for the day was red/blue/yellow. And Caught some on a popsicle hot grub. Thanks for looking!

Nice looking fish. I can’t believe you all braved that wind. Must have been fun holding the boat steady. Let me know how they taste and if you glow green after eating them.:D:eek:

This is David. I can tell you that on Sunday the road was terrible, but I did manage to make it back there in an s-10 pickup. If I had to stop I would have been stuck!:eek:
