Great videos a must see for anyone wanting to learn this technic

Good videos papasage! I give on the water dock shooting lessons on jackson if anyones interested. I can have most people shooting like a pro in less than an hour. I also explain the differences in good docks and bad docks and different presentations.

now that’s good info sage..
slinger I bety you just teach a few tricks but not all you know!

mr paty is a man to listen to and the video by loggerhead is even better.. trouble around most of the lakes all of us fish is that the docks are 6" to 12" off the water…you have to practice to get good at it but it never stops amazing me the number and size of the crappie under docks..

here is an 8 yr old shooting.. this kid is hooked on the thump for life i believe…

Now Smitty, that is one of the best videos I have ever watched. That kid has it down pat. Thank you for a great video.

Both good videos.

If only the docks on Oconee were like those Wally was shooting.

There’s alot of those kind of docks on Lanier.

Good tips and videos too.

I remember watching you and your sons shoot a dock/pontoon boat @ Harding in 4-8 fow. You caught several under there and I would have thought it to be too shallow there as late in the spring as it was that day.. Yall even went back the next day and had a few.

Yep. Good times. I think I still got a way point on that pontoon some where. Need to get back over there and shoot some docks. May get over there soon. Holler if I see it working out. I know they will be a little deeper now, but still gotta be some good fish to be caught on some docks. The scenery and mermaids maybe a little distracting though!

Thanks for shareing the viedo Papasaga and Smitty, good info. If our docks on Lanier were that high up it would be great but most have only 6-10 inches to get under them. I need to try Burton or some of the Ga. Power lakes I think they have post like that but here they have foam and are moved in and out.

what is it that makes people smile so big when catching a fish…it just makes you feel good..Have you ever seen a pic of someone mad holding a crappie. Caught or Fried..:cheers2

Dan, I am thinking about going over to Harding this Friday. I know you feel a sick day coming on?

Dang it man. I am feeling crappy. Let u know if I can get a pass.

ain’t no fish in the hooch

Smitty, you ain’t got nothing to worry about. I do not think I could catch a keeper crappie if you put it in a bath tub. I have caught some of the smallest crappie this year that I have ever seen. West Point and Oconee have been very disappointing this year. Friday is a toss up on where I want to go between Talquin and Harding! Maybe I just need to hire a guide at Harding that can put me on some slabs???

Come on earl. You ain’t foolin no one. I seen your track record, you are one slab catchin fool. I never been to Hardin. But from the posts I’ve seen looks like Talquin is still givin up some hogs.

Didnt recognize Wally there for a few minutes. The kid has learned well with a very bright future of fishing.Thumbs Up

Lost a whole day at work today because some jack wagon decided to break into our neighbor and cut our phone & computer lines thinking it was the neighbor’s security system. Friday is out for me. I also have to replace the plug in for my trolling motor before my boat hits the water again. It is on the way. Upgraded to a Marinco plug & receptacle since the standard ones have been junk. Dang near cost me a trolling motor or worse Saturday. I may still can go by Sunday if the crappie show back up in the Hooch. Or I may just pull or push cranks at Blackshear. Decisions, Decisions!!!
