These are some of the easiest ties to make and materials are easy to get,this is the jumbo chewing gum chenille sold on eBay tails are what they call baitfish emulator , pearl flash, it makes for some great contrast and easy to use materials…. big plus with not having to cut up hackle and finding that perfect chenille color to match, this stuff comes in a great variety of colors and even sizes, but jumbo is what I used on both the yellow chart jig 1/16 oz and red/ white in 1/8 oz sized jig,

I just ordered what they call every color bulk shipment direct from Fnf fly fishing in UK,shipping was hefty, but all 13 jumbo colors was around $60 shipped,great deal considering what eBay charges for each color

The only issue i have is using it as the sole tailing material, i’m not convinced of the profile/action being a plus. However, I am convinced that using a few pieces of it with hackle feather is productive. If you test any with just the emulator and get good results let us know. So far, I haven’t…
