Saw Finna racoon fur zonker strips on facebooks. That’s some long fur and looked like it would flow and pulse really well. Anyone ever seen them before?
I’ve seen them at a couple fly shops here in town but never bought any. I’m partial to bunny zonkers. For long fur zonkers I like oppossum. I use the long hair with bass jigs that I make. Rabbit zonkers are excellent hair for panfish jigs.
Is there a market for this? I have a license to take and sell fur and processing a couple dozen to sell this way would be a whole lot better than selling for $5 ea to the fur buyer
Not sure on that one. Found them from $20 to $50 for basic tanned furs. Might get better prices selling em here for $10 to $20
