The protesters had announced they would be at CJ’s funeral and the town banded together.

There’s a video clip towards the bottom of that page that’s really cool that shows everything.

My son said that he and the family couldn’t see the protesters at all and the protesters left after about 30 minutes when they realized they couldn’t make a “splash” there.

I have it on DVR at home, thanks and there are several online from different stations. I’m so glad the family didn’t have to go through that MESS. Other families havent been as lucky! Thanks for the offer, Jethro. Truly appreciate it! :slight_smile:

Should be able to invite a bunch of vets and make the cops go home.That would stop their butts from protesting at such a sacred event.

I’m origionally from St. Joe just north of Weston. Small tourist town. If anyone ever drank McCormicks wiskey, that’s where it’s made. Glad everyone got together and put the A@@ H@@@@ in there place. Strong sence of family in that area.

They were supposed to come to Batesvile back in the summer when a young man from here got killed in Iraq. The whole town showed up but they did not.

Yes, the family was hoping they’d be a no-show in Weston, but they came. And then went home almost as soon as they got there! <giggle>
