Both are listed for the same price. Which would you choose? Why? I am in the planning stages of my boat and need guidence. Thanks for any and all answers.
570 has a larger screen and at my age every little bit helps. The X4 that I have seen on display has a pretty clear picture for a small unit. If your close to someplace that sells them best to see them for yourself up close if possible. Either one though shold do you a good job.

I would say the 570 would be about a simple as it gets. It is going to show you depth of water, the fish simbles don’t always mean fish, it could be bait fish school or tree limbs. But good simple unit to start with. It will show drop offs and stumps, brush piles when you get used to using it. Which ever one you get take the time to play with it on the water and learn what different settings will do for you. Then progress up in quality as you learn how to use it. Depending on where and how you fish that unit maybe all you would ever need.

Humminbird are by far the most user friendly finders on the market. The Eufala techs are first class also. I am about 2 hours from Eufala if you need help I may can make a trip. If down towards Talquin I will put you on some fish. Good luck!
